yes will be back!!there is alot to see in this small town in nevada,during the summer they have the Basque festival which I never knew about! or heard about Basque people,until going to winnemucca they also have a great Basque resturant downtown,about $50 a plate but you get a ton of food!!You did not find this review helpful.1 of 2 Yahoo! Don't forget the fair!Winnemucca has an air about it like no other place in Nevada. A great fun time with the small town feel! Wonderful place to Vacation.
We perform there at fair time under the banner of "The Dangerous Dinos" and we love it each time we go! I can't think of anything neg. to say about Winnemucca, so what does that tell you. Ahhh Winnemucca!If you are there over the 4th of July you can enjoy the vast fireworks displayed each year from the city park from atop Winnemucca Mountain. By day take in the Basque culture at the local restraunts enjoying their food and way of life while sitting around a large table of 20 or so, also known as, family style.
