A good lodging option..See Yellowstone and SkiAnother family and ours came out to Big Sky/ West to ski this winter for a week (from Minnesota) but we had kids who were not all that 'into' skiing.

Love this place!While I have not skied a great many other places extensively (once in Switzerland, some in CO, Big Mtn and Utah) I find myself always wanting to go back to Big Sky. I love the fact that it is a 45 min drive from the airport (as opposed to the 2+ hours some CO resorts are from the airport).

I wanna live here!We've been going out here since Chet Huntley began the resoort in the mid 60's. While it's hard to see Big Sky expand so dramatically - it ain't the quaint old West any more - it is still a slice of Heaven on Earth.
