A town that takes pride in its past. Has some interesting aspects, the most notable being an excellent book store on the town square. Restaurants are ok but nothing special. I was there for 3 days and I already got a little tired of the one coffee shop. (It was an ok coffee shop, but amazingly it appeared to be the only one.)

This town did not live up to the hype. In my eye, it is highly over-rated and does did not meet or even exceed my expectations.

Oxford is such a wonderful small town so rich in history. The residents take pride in that history which is evident in the towns people and the care they take of the community. This is the most enchanting place on earth. The best four years of my live were lived in this small southern town. I get back every chance i get!!!
The square is the place to eat and shop. Try to visit for a game weekend but plan ahead as the hotels fill up fast. Nothing beats the charm and hospitality of Oxford
