The people here are not at all friendly and the service you get by going to ANY of the businesses here is horrific. They seem like they are doing you a favor by being and working there (this is not a one time occurrence, but a constant complaint form a majority of the "non-locals" here) Avoid this black hole if at all possible.

Can't wait to move back!!!

Columbus is a small, quiet and quaint town with lots charm. Moved from there a few years ago and I can't wait to move back!!
COLUMBUS IS A SMALL FRIENDLY TOWN WHERE YOU CAN COME AND REMEMBER DAYS GONE PAST. THE TOWN IS FULL OF HISTORY. TRY THE BED AND BREAKFAST HOMES IN TOWN TO REALLY GET A FEEL OF WHAT COLUMBUS IS ALL ABOUT. NIGHT LIFE IS SLOW BUT HARVEYS RESTARAUNT HAS A WONDERFUL BAR TO RELAX IN.

No big name companies

I like the housing market and dollar value. I like the area itself. I don't like the low paying jobs and lack of good stores. Not used to everything being spread out. Only thing to do is out of town. In town is nice history and beautiful arcutecture but thats all. Lakes are OK but no nightlife.

Columbus in a nutshell
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/16/05
Columbus is a small southern city based around the Ten Tom River. Lacks an interesting night life, bars and meat markets. Pretty boring place to exist.
