Actually there's a great night life, cheap and delicious food, and never has the toursit atmosphere. A place to just get away, have a beer, and experience a friendly city with character.

Friendly people, clean city. Try not to miss the State Fair

I went to the Minnesota State fair. It was absolutely georgeous. We walked about 2 miles to get to the mall and the neighborhoods were so serene and quiet. Very nice houses. The fair offered almost anything to do and has over 300,000 people there at one time. The downside was the traffic on the way there. The interstates can be very confusing in the St. Paul area.

It was the warmest, cleanest, and most polite area I have ever visited. The people there are one of a kind. I will definitely be going back plenty. There is so much going on in Minneapolis/ St. Paul that it never gets boring and the people there are utmost welcoming.
