I moved here after visiting!This is a great location. I went to college here and fell in love with it! I ended buying an abandoned underground copper mine and running it for tours! (Adventure Mining Company - stop by and visit) Houghton is great for history, mining buffs, outdoor hiking, world class mountain biking, any winter sports, families to go someplace exciting ...Was this review helpful? Hoghton a winter wonder landthere is so much to say and prolly not enough space to say it in about houghton. during the summer houghton is a great place for jsut about any kind of water sport you can think of. have multiple beaches and acess points to the portage river and lake superior. great moutain biking trails litter the land around houghton, along with trails to hike. ...Was this review helpful?
