its not like a big city ,is like a tiny villige but the size of a city.if you live in a city then this is perfect for you.summer is good for a steady trip and winter is bit harder to manage but its a better experance.

Grand Rapids really is a boring city. Not a whole lot to do there except go to Lake Michigan about a 30 minute drive west.

Oh, and bye the way, by my understanding, Grand Rapids is, by no means a "College town". Pretty sad actually as the city could really use some younger, educated residents.
