I just fell in love with Rockport ladies and gents. I am a lady, and all the little shops just made my day. I loved a shop by the name of Sandcastles. It had great sweatshirts, with the Rockport logo. I loved the jewelry store next door to it as well, the N-Gallery. It had great silver for the best prices, they are so helpful. A woman in there helping me was so sweet, we even found out that our parents went to the same high school!

I couldnt say enough about The Grand Cafe. Maybe those that have reviewed it were looking for more simpler foods. Sure my lamb chops were a small portion - but very tender and the wild mushroom gave it a great earthy tone -- i will definitely be returning just to see what the chef has to surprise me with next time.

Lots of locals rather than distant tourists. Beautiful, serene, with an almost perfect beach (the water is cold). The beach has no waves but is perfect for relaxing. I have visited since 1969. My wife and I have visited each summer for 5 years. Buy a lobster for $12 on Bearskin Neck. We stare at Motif #1 for aestetic uplift. The cemetary is interesting.

We enjoy going to Rockport to shop, eat seafood, & walk along the ocean to relax.

The cuisine at the Grand Café located at the Emerson Inn in Rockport, MA is excellent. The inn is beautifully furnished and has a great breakfast. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the afternoon. The innkeepers were friendly and helpful with suggestions for restaurants, etc. The town has lots of shops and galleries and great ocean views.
