Cumberland is a very quaint city with breath taking views. There are lots of historical sites in the area that you can tour. I visited in late May and the weather was wonderful. The people were very friendly and helpful. My only complaint about the trip were the 1 way streets, they tend to make traveling around town challenging at times.

this place has reely friendly people but nowhere 2 shop. there is no arcade or anything for teens. cumberland just needs 2 wake up and go back to its original glory.i love living here. soon we will even have canal rides on the c& o canal which will be fun.on a real canal boat
There is nothing good about Cumberland MD that is unless you love wal-mart because thats pretty much all they have. The city is full of run down homes and empty buildings. There are a few nice places to eat in the city beside it (Lavale) but if you like shopping don't go to Cumberland.
