D.C. Sprall Done RightUnlike a lot of places that have seen urban sprall recently Bethesda has not changed for the worse. It is a great place for restaurants! If you're looking for a cheap place to stay while on a trip to D.C. this is just as safe as anywhere, but it may be cheaper. Not to mention it's kinda cool all on it's own/OVERALL

Best of the bestI lived in Fairfax for a couple of years while working in Bethesda. I love the DC area’s night life, history and the diversify of cultures. I cannot think of a better place where I would rather end up. You can find a restaurant for any country and culture in the world, without the KO’s of cities like New York, and learn about so many different ...2 of 2 Yahoo! Want to live there!Bethesda is a great place if you want to visit the capital city but don't want to stay there. There are great resturaunts and hotels. It is about 10 min. to D.C. by car and 15-20 by metro(always a good choice). It is very safe and overall a wonderfull city! A Little Piece Of HeavenBethesda offers a variety of restaurants, art,shopping, spas and so on. The area is very upscale and you'll feel safe, even late at night, strolling on the streets. It is one place I would not want to miss on a visit to DC/Maryland!

greatest place on the east coastBeautiful city, very very close to DC, easy access to the metro in several places around town, and in DC the metro is the best option to get around, esp. if not familiar with the area as traffic is insane pretty much all the time, great for shopping, home to national institutes of health, national institutes of mental health, naval surf and war ...You did not find this review helpful.13 of 16 Yahoo!
