Well I agree that the parking is a huge pain...especially during peak season. So try and park at the Visitor's Center parking garage. The people at the Visitor's Center are really friendly plus they have a public bathroom. It's always a nice view and the crab dip at McGarvey's is wonderful.

I love Annapolis! Mainly becasue I'm from Maryland and live in Florida so it's always good to go back to your home state and plus it's the capital of Maryland so they have a lot of really cool stuff there. From shops to historical places where you can check out a super old canon. Or take a walk down the streets and find yourself in the middle of shop U.S.A. It is truley one of the best places to visit or live.

I enjoyed every aspect of Annapolis from the beautiful homes, historical sites, and to the pubs that sit along the bay. The people were very nice and I felt that I was in a small town within a big city. I look forward to going back and eating more Maryland crab cakes.

I like the capital building which was used by Geo. Washington in colonial times.

I also like Main Street and I suggest that you try Chick and Ruth's Deli which has a very fun atmosphere for lunch and for dinner you can't go wrong at any of the fine dining restaurants. Parking is a little tough, and other than Chick and Ruth's it can be pricey but alot of fun.

Situated on the cost of the lovely Cheesapeake Bay. Great combination of senery and lots of shopping and food places. Great vacation get away! Love it, just love it.
