This place sucks...The worst service and rooms... Disgusting!

Americana is the worst place I have ever stayed. The shower would change from warm to scaulding hot, to cold. Our bathroom vent was connected to the bathroom next door.
The guests next to us sounded like they were in the same bathroom! They complained about our tv each night because of this. We had to sit around the tv, keeping the volume on ...

Loved Orchard Beach as a town and the beach is beautiful. Waves are huge and the water is cold and refreshing. The shops and the pier are always busy and most of the people are friendly. Stayed at the Gull, the bed and breakfast part.Would never go back there.

I have never actually been there but my friend has and she has told me so many great things about it. They have rides and of course a beach. My dad told me that the water isn't completely clean because some people don't bother to get up and go to the bathroom but if that disturbs you then why not try the amusment park with roller coasters ...

I've been going to OOB since the 80's when it was known as more of a "honkey tonk" area. Loved it then, and love it now. Things have improved over the years and it is geared to clean family fun.

We really enjoy the beach and all the shops. It's close enough to resturants and fast food . We Always stay at the K-Beck Motel right on the beach. We try to go a couple of times a year,we even go in off season. It's quiet then and we can walk for miles on the beach watching the waves or just sit and wave watch.They are always nice to us. Justine made us muffins, the place was clean, the showers were awesome! Great people, even had a little party for their guests on Friday night. But she *did* tell us about some nasty guests who smoked in the non-smoking rooms and never tipped who were VERY rude. I guess behavior breeds behavior.
