    Ellsworth is a great, growing town right on the way to Bar Harbor and deep Downeast. The only downfall is the traffic- Rte 1/Rte 3 gets downright nasty from Memorial Day through mid-September. The town is working on that though. The weekly (Yes, weekly) paper, the Ellsworth American, gives excellent insight and can be accessed online, along with ...

  • Great DownEast FUN!!

    Great place, lots of fun, but like all of DownEast Maine rather isolated and your lucky if you can get cell service....... Beautiful place, not far from Bangor!
