Wonderful experience!We stayed at the Cottage B&B. Wonderful is all I can say. As you cross the wooden bridge it just takes you back into history.
The 200 yr. old oaks with the moss hanging from their branches welcome you. The cottage with its porches surrounding it invites you to stay awhile. New managment greatI have been to this establishment before it was Cypress Grill and now that it is under new management.
The managment is very personable and fun to visit with. They are truly interested in how your experience was while there. Food and service, outstanding. What a Great Place!Absolutely loved our time in St. Francisville. You could spend a week there and not see all the attractions the area has to offer. The people are terriffic, really make you feel welcome. The Cypress Grill was so much fun; talking and laughing over a few beers with Bob (the owner) and the regulars. Good food too. Historic townMy wife and I went to St. Francisville just after Christmas of 05. The town has a very historic feel to it and the people are super friendly. We visited the beautiful Rosedown Plantation and as well as the Myrtlesville Plantaion. The Rosedown is a gorgeous place with an interesting past.
