Most people don't know but there's the Libbey Glass factory on I-20 at the Jewella Exit as you're coming in to Shreveport from Dallas side. Great outlet store and always good bargains. Good place to drop some coin before you donate it to the casinos!

Shreveport like many other cities has its pros and cons. If you are going for entertainment ie. (casino, horse races or one of the festivals) you will enjoy yourself. There's the boardwalk close to all the casinos for excellent shopping opportunites. Of course as in all of Louisiana you wont have any complaints about the food.

You know whenever Shreveport, LA fix it roads.. its going to be alright type of town...I love you it... Its a good place to visit. It is a great place to go to a G.S.U. game.. and I would come back again...

PLEASE AVOID THE SHREVEPORT-BOSSIER AREA. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT THIS PLACE IS THE FOOD. THE CASINOS ARE TRASHY AND NOT MANY TABLES TO PLAY ON. PARKING DOWNTOWN.....FORGET ABOUT IT!!!! MY CAR GOT BROKEN INTO NOT ONCE BUT TWICE. I WAS ONLY ON VACATION FOR 8 DAYS THERE.
