  • Great place to visit
    By Joshua S, 03/08/07
From Avery Island to the Shadows on the teche, it's a great place to visit. Cypremort Point beach is only 20 minutes southeast, and Lafayette only 20 minutes North. Beautiful historic district and several attractions. New Iberia is a great base for a trip to cajun country.

New Iberia is a very small city. There are not a lot of things to do. Lafayette is a better city with things to do.

  • Want to live there
    By Alex, 08/10/05
I really like visiting here because i just like how the people treat you when you at the stores and when your walking down a street. I really like that new orleans is like two hours away from here and it looks great if you live here. I really loved that place. Visit the gulf of mexico which is about 30-40 miles away from New Iberia and try to visit layfette too.
