Not really sure what they do in Minden but I was there on business. Doesn't seem that there's really much to do there that would drive a person to visit. The downtown historic area is pleasant enough but not enough to warrant a deliberate visit. Unless you have a job, a family or business in Minden, there's probably not much there for a traveler.
