Don't let Baton Rouge fool anyone. BR is full of diversity. You can find resturants for all different tastes. They also have Latin clubs. years ago they did not have that. they have a faboulous mexican resturant better than any I tasted in texas. Los Gallos Mexican Grill & Cantina. They have the best mango margaritas I have ever had in my ...

The food was delicious at Boutin's accompanied by Cajun band and dancing. Chimes Restaurant was also excellent. Wait staff in both places were very pleasant and accomodating! Car tour of LSU interesting. Huge campus. The rest of the city is ho-hum. Very spread out. Capitol building is the tallest structure. The Marriot and Chase Bldgs are ...

My City
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 04/20/06
Baton Rouge is a good city. Don't be fooled by what visitors write as reviews. They probably don't travel around the city to really see what's goin on. We have a city that's full of anything you can imagine. We have two beautiful malls, lots of places to shop, party clubs for teenagers and adults, casinos, block parties, ...
Baton Rouge is a place for fun, adventure and an inexpensive getaway. The food and music is an escape all on its own. They use the right kind of seasoning, and sounds to take you away in a world of total enjoyment. Thanks Baton Rouge, can't wait to see you again.

Baton Rouge Airport
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/21/06
As a frequent visitor to the Cajun Country, I have been using the Baton Rouge airport and its convenient one hour to St Landry Parish, Opelousas, its clean, modern and convenient.
Staff is friendly and a good selection of rental cars.
In the past few years, major improvements have been occuring, such as new parking.
Baton rouge is a great town- it's gotten quite a bit more congested though since the hurricanes and the subsequent increase in traffic. Unless you're a die-hard football fan- (or love miles long traffic) you don't want to visit during a game weekend. Of course if you love football there's no better place to be than tiger stadium ...

mmm...delicious!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 09/25/05
The Izzo's on Burbank, Baton Rouge is the greatest place to get a burrito from. The burritoes are huge and yummy. I love all the healthy ingrediants in the burrito. And each burrito is customized for the customer. You stand right there and tell them what to add to your burrito. I don't like the prices very much. But the burritoes are still very tasty and HUGE.

My father lives there and I always anticipate going back.
I love Baton Rouge for every reason. History, beauty, and culture abound in the area. You have World famous dining, shopping for all tastes (high fashion or bargain hunters), easy navigation, etc.... My father lives there and there is always somethibg going on. New Orleand is just a pleasure drive away. It is the central hub to anything and anywhere.
