They city of salina has had a bad reputation because alot of people say there is nothing to do, and comments like that. We stop there every time we drive to texas,we have a nice hotel that we stay at. and get a early morning breafast get gas and head out we feel safe there and enjoy the people we have talk too!

Had alittle time during an overnight trip to visit. Enjoyed Rolling Hills Wildlife Adventure and Museum which is a one of a kind experience. Had a fantastic dinner at Tucson's Steakhouse and strolled around the downtown area. Nice people.

I lived in Salina for almost 20 years left in 2001,and I would never move back. It's a okay place to vist if you have family there but wouldn't live there by choice. Its small,theres nothing to do, and not much work.I would only return to vist family.
