believe me... clay center is horrible. i used to live there. it is full of drugs and crime. the north side of town is ok, but the south side of town (where everything is) is trashy.

I have read some of the reviews this town has gotten. I would have to agree with you people here are snoby and rude. Just so you know not all of use are that way and I'm very sorry you didn't meet the right people. I you ever come back I hope you have a better visit. This coming from someone who lives here.

i liked the small town feeling; I didnt like the way the people that live there treat visitors. I felt very much out of place during my stay. Very friendly people at the motel and restaurant. Everyone wanted to know why I was in town and asked when I would be leaving instead of enjoy your visit and wish you could stay longer.
