Why stay?Burlington, IA has lost touch with how to update their amenities and make the community a desirable place to live. The shopping is horrible and you can count the number of good restaurants to dine at on one hand. More than half the buildings in the downtown area need to be torn down or renovated. Nice smalltownI stayed with some relatives in Iowa for two months this spring and spent quite some time in Burlington. It's a nice town but coming from a bigger town there's not that much to do.

Snake AlleyI loved growing up in Burlington, Iowa. One of my favorite places is going to visit the Snake Alley, the crookedst street in the world. There are many events that take place every year at this landmark. Many people come and visit this street and bring their families with them!
