    elgin is kind of a so-so/okay town. a few people were friendly, but i do feel very uncomfortable going there after what happened to me in sycamore.

    good people...good gambling boat...good roads...good eating...good sleeping places...good fun and you can visit other places that are neat to see while you make elgin your campsite

  • Lots to do, nice people

    Beautiful old buildings, nice setting on the Fox River. But also modern and dynamic. These aren't people trapped in the past.
