dekalb is where northern illinois university is. and that is also where i went on 3 bicycle trips. the campus was rather beautiful allright, but many of the students were very unfriendly and very rude; in fact on my third trip, i stumbled across a party that was being held in the field just east of the stevenson towers dormitories and only 3 students even said "hi" to me.
