We stayed for a week in 2006 we had the best time ever.Totally a family place ,You must must stay here.It was great having washer & dryer in the room makes unpacking @ home much easier. Kids loved helicopter ride, snorkeling & the beach was great .Hope one day to come back....Would recommend to anyone....
This place was ideal (for us). It's definitely not a high end resort, but it's very well located. The staff was friendly and really seemed to have fun with their jobs. A nightly hula show is a nice way to unwind. We didn't spend an immense amount of time in the room, but they seemed like clean mid-tier rooms. When we go again we will stay here next time as well. The location is ideal.
We stayed at a small bed and breakfast in Lahaina that provided fresh fruit, baked goods and cereal for breakfast, everything you needed for a trip to the beach including coolers, chairs and snorkeling gear, as well as let you use their kitchen and barbque grill to cook your own food, which you could buy at the local safeway and store in the ...
We loved Lahaina! There was plenty to do and see. The local people were friendly but just about everything there seemed expensive, but it was worth it. I definately recommend Bubba Gumps resteraunt and snorkeling at the beaches. I'd never been before and it was the trip of a life time. The sceanery was truely amazing, from volcano mountains to ocean waves and rainbows everyday!
It was wonderful, beautiful, perfect temperature, didn't rain too often, close to everything and I found everything that I wanted! Perfect for kids, couples, honeymooners, lovers and singles!
I loved to HUGE fig tree in the centre of town. This tree is like nothing i've seen before! It's worth going to Lahaina just to see it.

Lahaina is great. Wonderful restaurants, shopping galore, and perfect atmosphere. It can be hot but usually never over 90. The people are extremely friendly. Parking is a buggah. Try the Lahaina center lot and get your card stamped for free parking. You must eat at Cheeseburgers in paradise or Bubba Gumps, if for nothing else, the view is the best ...
While Honolulu is a paradise civilized, stylishly chic and a tad too commercialized,Maui is heaven. It must be those wonderfully lavender and pale green mts that give it such hidden mystique and intrigue. Waikiki beach has warmer water for swimming while is ocean cold in Maui. In Lahaina some favorite places are-- 1.Banyon Tree and Heritage ...
This is the "must do" trip every year when we go to Maui. It's very crowded, tacky, touristy but a whole lot of fun. You can eat at Cheeseburger in Paradise, have drinks and appetizers at Kimo's or Italian food at Longhi's---it's all a ball! The shopping is fun and you can find bargains if you look. But definitely, ...
