  • Not Very Impress
    By smexy-lexy, 03/09/08
I was disappointed that when I got there it wasn't a lot for my child and I to do culturely. We where hoping to attend a live show. The only one we could find was something about Captain Bree... I was very disappointed. They had a nice mall, but that was the only thing that really attracted me and my teenage daughter. They people there were not ...

I visit Valdosta once, perhaps twice a year, to see family. I personally find Valdosta to be a wonderful small city that is easy to manuever around and with a surprising number of good restaurants. Hotels are fairly inexpensive and they've recently renovated Colonial Mall adding several new shops.

The downtown area is fairly deserted though ...

  • Boring and ugly
    By Romy, 11/30/05
I'm sorry but Valdosta isn't a tourist city. It's too boring to be one. There isn't much to do at all. The only mall they have is smaller than a football field. Not many shops inside. Should only take you 7 minutes to walk from one end to the other. Like I said, boooring. The city isn't that safe either. I felt like I had to ...

  • "Pause In Valdosta"
    By Stephen S, 09/27/05
Half way between Atlanta, GA and Orlando, FL,
Valdosta made a refreshing stop-over for my
family and I on a leisurely vacation. The kids loved Wild Adventures theme park with its many rides and animals. There are many top quality restaurants and a nice Mall as well as a 20 screen theater with stadium seating. Antiques, Bakeries, Boutiques, and other specialty shops dot the city.
My family and I relay enjoyed our stop-over.

Valdosta has very little to offer anyone, except it is on the way to Florida and on the way back to Atlanta! It is NOT MUCH with Nothing much to offer.
