i lived in Macon for a few Months. very quit and relaxing place but not much to do. it may be a good place to raise a familiy away from the crime of Atlanta but not a vacation spot.

This is like stepping back in history.Lot's of things to do and see.I am glad I made a stop in Macon.I visited the Ga.Music Hall of Fame,Tubman Museum and the sports hall of fame.Next trip i plan to see the Hay House and the indian mounds.

Great place to stop on I-75 for truckers and business travelers. I've never been disappointed in the big M and always spend a few hundred there! The local "can do" attitude is truly amazing.
