Other then the scenery this place has very little to offer. The shops are dirty and totally overpriced. We ate at the Alt Heidelberg Restaurant. In this place you don't know what you are getting. The food is below any grading. NASTY.

Helen is a great place to visit and spend a couple of days. Our favorite time of year is during the fall leaf season. The traffic in and out of town can be hectic but that is the way it is. Our favorite place to eat is Paul's Steakhouse and a must for Sat night is the Elvis Show at Remember When Theatre. Betty's Country Store is a MUST visit.

We love Helen Ga.we go ever year and always have a great time. But this time we went to see the new Elvis show at Remember When it was the greatest show we have ever seen I have told everyone I know about it. Helen Ga. got a great thing we they got this show. Wonderful Elvis and great entertainment.

The shops were dirty. The shop employees were not very friendly. There was not much to do other than tube in the dirty river. Not a very child friendly town. There is so much more to do in other Georiga towns... would recommend not wasting your time at this place.

Helen is a has a cute little German agriculture. We stayed at the Best Western I believe, and it was perfectly nice. We went tubing and it was fun to see old-time magic stores and candy shops that you could actually purchase items at. My favorite restaurant was "Trolls Taverns" or something like that. I would defiantly recommend it and its very good as a place to stay over night when headed somewhere else. Great for all ages.

What a fun place! We went on a Saturday during Oktoberfest and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The shops are cute and the merchadise is nicely priced. You can go and not have to spend a fortune. I drive to Heen is a great one- very scenic. It's a wonderful way to spend a Saturday!
