Are people really so friendly?I definately liked how all the folks down there were polite and helpful.It really gave me a taste of Southern Hospitality. Also you can't beat the weather there. Quaint town, great weatherI recently moved here from New Jersey. Besides being the fruitcake capitol of the worlf, Claxton is the storybook old town charm with new age conveniances. Wonderful weather all year round and no one who has been here can ever forget the Rattlesnake Round Up. A yearly parade, demonstration, vendors and actual rattlesnakes.
