I was born here but I can't wait to move. There is nothing to do, unless you like golf. No good groups come here anymore to perform. In the 80s a lot did, not nobody. Texas here I come!

I experienced Augusta for the first time in the fall, during a time of the year that the greatest golfers from around the World were not present and the azaleas and dogwoods were not in full bloom. Yet, I had a wonderful first impression of this historic southern riverfront city located just below the fall line of the Savannah River.

Ramada Downtown , Augusta

Like- NOTHING, I was very disappointed I thought that from the external views from the internet and the fact that it was in downtown Augusta would guarantee me a pleasant hotel experience. I could not have been more wrong! The lobby was dank, musty, and very aged in appearance. The room had thread bare, in much need of updating, bedspreads and ...

We can't wait to never pass through here again!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/27/06
No culture! A whole lot of strip malls if that's what you are after. Ugly landscape. A real eyesore. Went to find a bar, found "wild wings". Was more like high school than a bar. Not much in the way of local food, mostly chains. Woudln't recomend.
I was displaced from Hurricane Katrina,so now I'm living in Augusta,Ga because I have family there. I enjoy most of the non major things that are going on in Augusta, such as the Georgia Lottery and the Henry Brigham park where I love to play basketball. The Augusta Riverwalk is a nice area because it's not to far from Fort Discovery which ...

I dont like that that limits alot of things we (augustans) can do due to traffic. Augusta is also the home to the highest SAT scoring highschool in Georgia (which i ...

Augusta Georgia is the best place to live! It offers a very nice climate range for all season. There are many attractions that suits all needs and wants. Great schools and Universities too! Take some time to visit Augusta, Georgia and you may end up a permanent residence.
One good thing about Augusta,GA is that there are many hotels and motels to chose from. I live in Augusta, but I here this from travelors all the time. The night life downtown is not so bad either. The city brings in a lot of good bands for the locals. This also brings money into the city with people coming in to see the bands.
