Hated the management, had no hot shower water for 5 out of 7 days and the management could care less. Loved the area and the beach will go back BUT NOT TO THE VISTAS ON THE GULF!! beware once you're there they don't care!!

St Pete beach and the area is wonderful.
The shops at St Johns Pass were awsome. The beach at St Pete and Ft Desoto State Park were picture perfect. We loved the atmosphere and fun at The Pier.
We spent two days at Busch Gardens, which is close by, and loved every second.
We loved the drive across the bridges leading to St Petersburg and can't wait to visit the area again.

SPB is a cool little place to visit. The beaches are all very nice and there are many of them to choose from. The water looks great and the beaches are all very clean. Everything is pretty closely grouped together. As long as it's not rush hour, you can go from SPB up to the Dunedin area in about 45 minutes. If you want, you can catch a Rays ...

We will never go back to St. Pete Beach. The whole area is a dive and junky. Not to mention overpriced and the people are not friendly.
Save your money and go to Mexico or Cuba (if you're Canadian) at an all inclusive. Its much better value, better food, nicer people, better beach and better resorts.

Although we went in late March, the weather was cool(high 60's). But we really enjoyed it anyway. The beach and surrounding areas are beautiful! The views and sunsets are spectacular! The Gulf water was warm and so clear! The area of St. Pete's Beach has numerous attractions close by and is good for families...No wild springbreakers...mostly families with kids and retirees. If your looking for a quiet, beautiful Florida beach, this is IT!

We had a wonderful stay at the Sunrise. Our unit 205 had a fantastic view of the bay and overlooked the pool area. From the time we arrived in the USA and Tampa airport we had a very easy time to get to the Sunrise. We went to St. Pete's Beach for our honeymoon in 2004. We were able to stay at a four star resort hotel (the Don Cesar) and enjoy a beautiful hotel, a lovely beach, magnificent pools and a spa--all for an affordable rate! I would recommend it to other newlyweds or anyone looking to relax. It's family friendly, too.

This resort is investing alot of money in new rooms and ammenities!!! Restaurants are wonderful!!! Location, location, location. Beautiful beach!!! What ever you desire, St Pete Beach has you covered!!! 1 1/2 hrs drive to Disney/Universal/Sea World. 45 minutes to Busch Gardens. Simply Paradise!!!
