I stayed at this hotel several times. I've tried staying at hotels in downtown st augustine, but this hotel is a lot better. It's on the beach, it's walking distance to bars and restaurants. The food in the restaurant is really good. The pool area is great, and having a jacuzzi next to the bed is awesome. I always stay here whenever I visit st augustine.
I have been to St. Augustine two different times. Each time was different. The second time to me was the best. The firing of the canons and the people had good hospitality. I recommend the trip to anyone
For anyone who loves historical sites, St. Augustine is the place to visit. Must sees include: Castillo de San Marcos, the lighthouse, Ripley's believe it or not museum and a boat tour under the Bridge of Lions. this is one of the most beautiful, serene, and completely romantic cities in the US.

We've been vacationing in the area for 35 years, we are always drawn back to the city, the fort, the spanish bakery and the restaurants. They have many bed and breakfast inns convenient to downtown. We brought our friends from Paris, France to visit America's "oldest" city. They really enjoyed the visit.

My fiance' and are former New Orleans residents displaced by Hurricane Katrina. As a whole we have found Florida to be...not quite our cup of tea...until we found St. Augustine!
