Very hip and trendy. The restaurants are quite expensive. The beach can be crowded, but it's not too bad in the mornings and evenings. The sand is nice and so is the water.

Use the "South Beach Local" to get around. It's only 25 cents to ride and it will take you to most places in south beach.

This place is where my daughter was born. It was BEAUTIFUL! Beaches were always shining like the sun setting. Food was amazing and riding with the dolfinsis always an adventure! If you have not been there you must go!

You can fool around in a great atmosphere, especially evenings...hot chiks, cool cars and so on. You can actually see the 'fun ships' going out to the open waters, and it is just happening in front of your eyes.

It is true that it will be most helpful if you speak more than just English. Otherwise you will be okay. This is a festive environment with much to do. Miami Beach is very pretty.
