This has to be one of the most interesting small cities in Florida, and very scenic, too. Being here presents the atmosphere of a small, folsky, Southern town. The terrain in the area is hilly, with red clay reminiscent of nearby Alabama. While most of Florida runs on Eastern Time, this one is just on the Central Time side of the border by about 15 or so miles. Just outside of town is Florida Caverns State Park, with its cave tour and sinkholes.
