My husband and I visit Key Largo for a month every winter. We have thought of going other places but nothing compares to the incredible boating around Key Largo. If you love fishing,scuba diving or just relaxing at a sand bar it the place to be.

The island is not taken care of at all. It was dirty, and the people there are unfriendly and know that if you are a tourist that you are their bait and they will rip you off. The hotel was nice but life outside of it I felt like I was in a horrible movie that I wanted to end.

- US Highway 1 (dangerous)
- Folks seem to always be in hurry

BEAUTIFUL PLACE!! NICE PEOPLE. THERE IS A FLEA MARKET THERE THAT ALOT OF LOCAL ARTIST SELL THERE ART AT GREAT PRICES, I WAS IMPRESSED. IT IS LOCATED ON SAT. & SUN. IN KEY LARGO AT THE UHAUL. THE DIVING IS FANTASTIC AND HOBO'S RESTRAUNT IS AWESOME. HAVE FUN!!

Nice and peaceful. Great restaurants. The hotels are a bit expensive but worth it. The Holiday Inn is very comfortable, has 2 pools (I like the one with the waterfall), and a great breakfast buffet (and the staff always remembers to bring me tea instead of coffee). Snorkeling is great at John Pennekamp (sp?) State Park. I recommend Coconut's for dinner.
