Where not to stay on Holmes BeachThe beach itself if nice. Relaxing and nice (or could be). We had a bad experience at the Cedar Cove. Everything is not as nice as it looks on their websites. The hosts were nice enough I will say. But it needs a good cleaning in side and a bit of updating. Bedrooms so small I felt like I was on a cruise. Hidden Gem--But Don't Tell........or the quaintness of this place will be ruined. If you're looking for high adventure and a place to "entertain" kids who have short attention spans, this isn't the place for you. BUT...if you appreciate an uncrowded beach (we went during June, however) and cool, white sands, this is for you. Great places to eat in Holmes ...You did not find this review helpful.5 of 9 Yahoo!
