We stayed at the Lani Kai resort. It was a great place to stay if you want to go out without going too far since they have their own club right there.

You can easily walk anywhere else you might need to go because everything is so close on the Fort Myers Beach.

Plus the drive there & back is always fun with lots to see on the way. ...

clean with ample room on the pool side. Travis & his wife were extremely helpful. Located near end of island & more quiet than Times Square., not as congested. All in all a very nice place to stay. Will plan to return next year.

For as long as I can remember Ft. Myers Beach has been a great place to escape from the every day stresses of life. It features many bars with a variety of different atmospheres.

We stayed 07/28/07 to 08/06/07 Ft. Myers Beach, Fl. on Estero Island. If you are a water and beach lover this time of year should be avoided in SW Florida. Even Bahia Honda beach in the Keys was not pleasant.

Visted Fort Myers Beach for a one week vacation with our two daughters ages 19 & 21. Had a wonderful visit. Very family oriented. We rented a cottage and it was very nicely priced. I would never have considered going back to the same place time and again until i found Fort Myers Beach. I`d have no hesitation retiring there. more for families but plenty to do for singles. GREAT.

I've stayed in many of the so-called resort towns of Florida. Destin, Jacksonville, Panama City Beach, Fort Walton Beach, St. Augustine, Daytona, St. George Island, Key Largo....so on and so forth.
Key Largo of course is absolutely beautiful, but quite a far trek. St George Island is a great place, but is quickly becoming very expensive just ...

Everything is right on the beach. Hotels are execellent with service and convience. Everything is within walking distance and you can easily just rent a scooter for a day to go to other islands around the area(thats what we did). A little costly but a GREAT place to visit! Diamond Head is and EXECELLENT hotel if you are looking for one.
Was there just after the hurricane and it was messed up pretty bad and still had a GREAT time!!

I have been going there every year since i can remember, and every time i can't wait to go back. I love Fort Myers and Fort Myers Beach.
