This place has a calming charm that's worth experiencing. The beaches are great and the waterfront and downtown area are a must see. The seafood in the restraunts is fresh and offshore fishing is worth your while. I recommend AC Charters and Capt. Allen.

The history, the beach, the people! I really love Fernandina. I could live there, and I am not very fond of Florida! Shopping at the little village style shops, or just walking on the beach this place is very laid back. It was always a favorite place to visit when I lived in the area.

This is a great place for tourists, u can camp in Fort Clinch or stay at a hotel by the beach or by the local marina.

Fernandina beach is an easy to find fun place for families. Even if you are close to broke, just going down for a day with the kids is a fun free outing. The beaches aren't as pristine as some I've seen and I have had to pick up litter every now and then, but on the whole, it's my favorite beach closest to my locale. I've been to ...
