Never, rent from Destin Vacation Boat Rentals - Ever; unless you want to pay out at the end. They took $200 in cash and a $50 credit card deposit. Promised change when I get back. Disappeared, didn't call back. Next day, the guy gave all types of excuses not to give me back my change claiming I brought the boat back a few minutes late, ...
I let our friends convince us to go here rather than Sunset Beach, NC. The drive frome Louisville, KY. was pretty easy. We stayed at Blue Surf and it was a very nice complex. Destin was not very "Kid Friendly" in my view. The only thing for them to see was the gulfariun, and Newport, KY's is so much better! Food was extremely ...
There were no dislikes it was all wonderful, we have stayed at alot of beaches and places but this by far takes the prize. The service is just amazing and the workers are all friendly and it is just a peaceful place to stay and the kids have so much to enjoy. Will always return to The Holiday inn in Destin.
This was one of the bestfamily trips we've been on! We actually rented a house for the week 1/2 a block from the beach in the Crystal Beach neighborhood. There were fantastic restaurants everywhere you went and plenty of shopping. I would highly recommend the Boogies Dolphin cruise. It started off kind of slow but we ended up seeing dozens ...

a great place for everyone

Destin is one of the best places you could wish for. Great beaches, good seafood, and almost no crime happens there. If you're not beach people, no problem! Destin has plenty more to do. Go to Big Kahuna's Water Park, race go carts, go deep sea fishing, go to one one of their fine seafood restaurants.

I love this place! My family has been going there fo over 20 years! They have lots to do! You can go to Big Kahuna's Water Park and Have a blast. But the lines are long but the maximum you will stay line is about 10 min - 5 Min. Not even that! You can also go fishing in the pear! I love it! We caught a angel fish! (We let it go) You can also go ...
If you are into the Beach town scene? Fort Walton Beach's a good sand spit to hit. I cannot imagine what spring break is like, it felt snug and trafficy when we stayed. Like other reveiwers I avoided Florida in the past behind the considerations of heat. Was plesant, if you are into sand and water and bullfrog. We had access to military housing ...
