My husband and I honeymooned at the Ritz Carlton Amelia Island. The service was excellent, the hotel beautiful...we had a great time. During the day we lounged by the pool or oceanside, and then took in the amazing views of the sunset from our balcony. At night we drove to Fernandina Beach and enjoyed the local nightlife. What a relaxing, wonderful trip.

I loved Amealia Island. I grew up enjoying Cape Cod, but it became too commercial and Martha's Vineyard got too uppity. Amealia Island is what I miss.. small, great beaches, friendly people, a really funky historic town and great beaches.
