The best hotel for us in Washington D.C.My husband and I were in D.C. for the sad occasion of a friend's funeral.
However, the personnel at the hotel and the accommodations were so satisfying that we temporarily forgot the sad occasion which brought us there. The free breakfast was delicious). The hotel is so central to all the important places to see.

Loved it, want to move backI left D.C. to move to Dallas about three years ago and I've been itching to move back. Dallas is the most boring, corporate place I've ever been to. Not just for history buffs!I loved D.C. It's just a place you have to visit. There's plenty to do even if you're not a history buff. My only complaint is that there is not a whole lot for kids to enjoy. This is the only reason I gave the trip 4 stars. D.C. is best saved for later if you have kids 12 and under. Things to do in D.C? Some tips for tourists.I live outside of DC and thought I would give some tips to tourists.
DON'T VISIT BETWEEN LATE MAY-EARLY SEPTEMBER- TOOOO HOT. Even when the forecast says it's 85, it feels around 95. It's a lot of walking so I wouldn't go in the summer. Go in the fall. Because in the spring it tends to rain a lot.

Cool but hot!!I loved this place there was something to do everyday but it was so hot i didnt want to do anything. I visted the white house and saw the president speak it was fun i thought i would be super boring. For lunch i had crabs at the fish warf and my sister had jumbo shrimp.7 of 10 Yahoo! A Pretentious, Self Important Townwith architecture that doesn't quite match its European counterparts.
Having lived here for over a decade, I'm out of here. The rent is overpriced with little amenities, the people can't dress and overall are NOT attractive inside or out, and if you are looking for a partner, beware - this is not the area to meet people.

DCI Loved this place. It was a Monumental Experience.Especially the Natonal Archives VIP tour.You should always visit during April or May.

This place is just amazing!!!before i went on this trip i never though of dc as being a great to visit. It never stood out to me. Boy was i wrong! This place is full of history, government, and just strait fun. It has beautiful architecture . The monuments and muesiums are so much fun and are amazing.
