Disappointed!There's evidently a significant difference between what we in New England call a"Quiet Resort" and that which passes for the above in DE/MD.

Love It!Fenwick Island is fantastic, family-oriented community.
It boasts being a "quiet resort".
Fenwick Island is so peaceful, beautiful, safe, and CLEAN!
You can leave your things unattended on the beach while you play in the ocean, or walk down the beach.
The lifeguards are super! They are on top of the visitor safety.

Best VacationThe Fenwick Islander is the best vaule vacation in the OC / Bethany area. You have to book early as we do each year or you won't get one of their prime rooms on the water. I see the same people each year as the place seems to attract a nice family clientel. The staff has been in place for at least ten years and they all greet you by name. We wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Excellent VacationI researched all the motels in Fenwick online and found this one to be the best value and location. I was able to book online and recieve a good promotional deal. Our room was very clean, the kitchen was great, the pool was spotless and kept up well. We walked to dinner each night in town. Great getaway!We just came back from a spur of the moment weekend in Fenwick Island. We stayed at the Fenwick Islander Motel which was great! Only 2 blocks away from Ocean City. The best thing to do is park your car at the Park and Ride and ride the shuttle to the boardwalk. Only $2 gets unlimited riding all day! The beach was SO clean and very quiet in Fenwick Island.
