Best NYC SuburbStamford is a great town and city, Low taxes, good schhols, beautiful parks, 45 min access to midtown Manhattan.
Traffic is a bit of a pain, but when you live in Stamford, you typically are going against the traffic.

Awesome!If you're the kind of the person like me, (likes the city and 'burbs mixed). Then Stamford, CT is the p-e-r-f-e-c-t place! Positioned about 30 minutes from the border with NY, right on the Long Island Sound this is the perfect vacation town! There are a few hotels in Stamford, mainly in the business district.
