Norwich's main attraction is the Mohegan Sun Casino in neighboring Montville. Other than that, nothing really special about it. The cost of living is a bit cheaper than in Groton or New London. There's been a big push for some urban renewal in the downtown area, I expect that in a few years it will be a nice place to see.

Foxwoods hotel and casino. I love to go play the slots and stay at any of the hotels. Having a reward card can save you on your stay and your meals. Everyone needs to get away and enjoy themselves once in a while.

The previous review is correct - many of the storefronts at the Norwichtown Mall are empty. However, the stores that are there are mostly family owned and run - places where you get personal attention from people who care about making sure you get what you want. A welcome change from most malls' staff.
