When my family and I went there its was very beautiful. On the last day as we were checking out i was out side spinning in a circle so i could see the 360 view so i would remember it forever and then it started to snow. It was like in the movies, it was the most beautiful time of my life.

I Left my heart in Estes Park
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/18/08
I worked in Estes the summer I graduated from high school (1975) at a place called National Park Village.(now the Gateway) My family attempts annual vacations to EP, but a part of my heart never leaves there. There is something truly mystical about they entire area. RMNP has something for everyone. My husband and I enjoy the hiking and hope to someday try snowshoeing. We have my sites set on settling there thru our golden years!!!!
Estes Park was hands down the most gorgeous city I've ever visited. The scenery is breathtaking and the quaint little buildings fit right in. Shopping was all walking distance. The locals were friendly and helpful and we honestly CAN'T wait to go back!
We went in the middle of June, when the temperatures were already approaching ...

ESTES PARK is AWESOME!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/27/07
If you want a relaxing getaway, you must go to Estes Park, CO. My family goes every October for one week and it is a small slice of Heaven. Highly recommend!!! VERY family friendly. Stay in a condo, cabin, suite and not a hotel!!!

Beautiful ! but not affordable to stay long
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 07/08/06
Estes Park has been the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park for forever! Go there-- and on over Trail Ridge to Grand Lake. Estes Park has grown way too fast, becoming even less affordable to visit, or live there-- unless you are wealthy. It is losing it's charm by over growth and aggravating petty crime. More places to live; yet, rent or ...

We Finally Made It!!!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/03/06
The first time we were ever in Estes Park was in 1983. We were awe struck. We went 10 years later for 6 weeks during the summer. Yes, it was crowded. We didn't let that bother us. We just started our days late. We went again in 1998 and every year since then. At first we stayed for 21 days, and increased the time every year. This year we are ...
This was a fine and exciting trip. The hotels were way overpriced; $300.00 per night for 2 beds.....! ouch, but it was worth it. the sights were mind boggling too!
I need no excuse to go there....it is my favorite place. Estes Park makes you feel welcome and gives me a feeling of comfort. All the while though you have a certain sense of anonymity. I have never met anyone there (visitor or resident) that has EVER been anything other than kind.
Go, Visit/Enjoy - you just might get hooked too!

I LOVED IT
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 01/22/06
Estes Park was a ton of fun and the Rocky Mountain NAT'L Park was really nice. Just make sure if you go up there you go back the same way you went otherwise you'll end up in Granby and it's atleast a three hour trip back! Unless you take Old Trail Ridge Road, thats not bad. It's one way, a little scary. A good place to stay is in ...
Estes Park is located in a valley surrounded by the Rocky Mountains on all sides. Enter the city off of Hwy. 36 and one of the most beautiful city views will await you as you come over a mountain top, around a curve and there in in front and below you is this beautiful city. The "Shining" was filmed at the Stanley Hotel in Estes Park. Estes Park is also at the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park, another tourist delight.
