Stay in Antonito and ride the train!
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 03/11/05
If you are riding the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic Railroad, you can't go wrong staying in Antonito. They have a motel (The Narrow Gauge RR Inn) located right next to where you board the train. You can get a quick breakfast and be off. Not much to see in the town, but it is located near some cool attractions... the train, of course, but also the oldest church in Colorado (an ancient adobe structure), and the Great Sand Dunes National Park.
