I've only been to Tahoe City in the summer, and I loved it. It's a friendly little town with all the natural beauty of Lake Tahoe and its surroundings and, thankfully, lacking in the overshadowing casinos that crowd South Lake Tahoe. Definitely head over to Jake's on the Lake for Hula Pie!
