NovatoNovato is kind of a bedroom community. Most of the town seems to close early. There are not a lot of tourist attractions.
The town is clean and quiet. If you are looking for good comfort food I would suggest Marvin's for breakfast great food big portions, and Star for dinner quality food at a reasonable price.

Always a Great Meal at Star RestaurantThere are no bad meals at Star. The portions are always generous - you will not leave hungry. The staff is friendly and the owners are usually on site - overseeing the operation. The menu is varied - with selections for breakfast, lunch or dinner. i lived ther for 13 yearsit's a very nice quiet town. all the stores aren't far from anywhere. it also bigger than it looks!
theres old town novato,ignacio, san marin,
bahia and some other places.if u like to take drives take the back roads and head towards stafford lake and take in the view and take a nice long ride!
