Tourists: When you come to Balboa Peninsula it is important to remember that the Boardwalk is an 8 mph roadway. There is traffic from bikes and other vehicles, and if you have small children, it is hazardous for you to leave your toddlers to wander around on the Boardwalk (or anywhere really) alone. Went there over the weekend. What a beautiful place - the beach is wide and full of people biking, playing volleyball, and showing their cleavage. It was a hoot seeing the Rolls Royce dealership on PCH. I haven't seen so many attractive looking folks in one place. Where are the homies!

P.S. Parking isn't too bad either - less than San Francisco ($1.00 for 75 minutes)

The hotel accepts all dogs wth absolutely no restrictions. I was horrified to find a Great Dane being warmly welcomed to the hotel. Personally I was scared. Do not stay here unless you like all dogs regardless of breed, size or discipline

I have been all around the world from the mountains of Switzerland to the beaches Antigua and so on. But, no matter where I go there is no place better than Newport Beach, CA. It is safe beautiful and fun. The only negative part about NB is that you can get caught up in enjoying yourself too much. It is it's own fantasmic bubble which is not like any other part of the world. So, make sure you have a great job set up.

Friendly people and a great nightlife.The place has tons of places to eat and party and that includes anyone on a budget just looking to have a good time.

Newport is one of my favorite places on the planet and the beach rocks. If you haven't been,go there.its awesome you can surf at the beach or just chill on the town.great food too

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING!!! I LOVE IT!!! Great for families, single peeps, and groups. If you surf there are nice spots around as well

When I first went to California, my best friend took me to Newport Beach. It was incredibly beautiful. I fell in love with it immediately. We ate lunch and shopped at the mall, then we went to the beach and just drove up and down the highway. We have been to the pier several times. I think it's beautiful and clean. I look forward to visiting there every year.

What an awesome beach..Awesome Surf the wedge for bodysurfing is out of this world..not to mention a very clean beach....nightlife around O.C. is great too..can't wait to go back!
