KOA site is run by total non professionals!! Was cussed out by drunk brothers who threatened violence to their guests!! These were the proud sons of the owners of the KOA Site. Worst experience ever!!! All this in front of family and kids. Real professionals!

I really enjoyed staying at Bear Creek Cabins as my stay was quite enjoyable and the accommodations contributed to my peace and quiet which I longed for. I felt totally relaxed!!!

Well I for one live here and mabye its boring to you city people. But I have lived here a long time and enjoy the peace and quite. We are a very close community and most people know everyone. There is much to do if you love learning about history or nature. The park is also close by. By the way if you want recomendations on where to stay or eat its always best to ask the locals.

If you love sight seeing, peace and quiteness, visit Mariposa. Not many restaurants or things to do in town but this place is for horse lovers, hikers, campers or just simply for people who enjoys driving around and looking at beautiful scenery. Mariposa is a sleepy quaint but isolated spot close to Yosemite. If you plan a trip there do not go near the KOA campsite. They cancelled our reservation when a large group was looking to camp. When I complained I was treated to a clice of mountain violent solution in the from of a neanderthal bit of muscle. Your wife and family deserve better.

Just came home from a one-week stay at the Bear Creek Cabins in Midpines (Mariposa). I was extremely disappointed in the accommodations (it was situated and part of a group of very rundown log cabins with trash everywhere). I liked the small town feeling and the locals were very nice. We ate at the Red Fox and the food was excellent and the price was awesome. There wasn't much to do in town...and the road from Yosemite was closed so we had to take a 2hr detour to arrive for our reservation. I wouldn't have gone if it wasn't for our reservation.
