Small town ... charming but very busy. We could not find a parking spot to go to the beach.

Very pretty for what we could see. Most of the homes are located on the ocean side of Pacific Coast Hwy ... so you only get glimpses of the ocean here and there.

There was nothing I disliked about Malibu. It was a perfect vacation from start to finish: the hotel, the restaurants I chose, everything. Now my vacation was a bit unusual. I didn't have a car, so I got around on mass transit. Yes, it IS possible..and easy...to get around Malibu by bus!

Its okay there but you have to go at the right weather and the right time. Once I went in a windy weather and a tide came in a little to strong, almost hitting us.
Its really fun but be careful!!!

Malibu is small town charm with a casual elegance. The Malibu Kitchen offers delicious deli/beach food, and the local playground at crosscreek is the ideal place to stop for a break with the kids. A perfect california beach day for me is at Surfrider beach in Malibu.

There are some fun trails up in the hills of Malibu past Pepperdine. It gets hot up there because you don't get the breeze from the ocean anymore. We found this one trail that goes to a little pond and you can jump from rocks into the water. lots of fun.

Malibu offers it all,

You wont want to leave and its a wonderous place to invest. Plus its so appealing to every life style and age group, with its very wide range of activity.
